Barriers here n there
here comes another season
Yellow fellow.
Lonely
Another macro from me, this features a retired leaf resting alone on the cracked soil, which i think can perfectly illustrate the mortality of human beings and the inevitable growing up. Also another dear photo to me.

Good Camera vs Good photography
Amateurs (that included me too) tend to have this notion that unless you have a high profile camera you can’t produce good photos. Well that’s not entirely correct. I mean you might have the greatest bat with you but you can’t score a handful until you have the talent to do so. Same goes with photography too, you might be the owner of one of the lavish and highly speculated DSLR’s in the industry but still to produce a marvelous shot you got to have that creative edge.
Having a good camera is undoubtedly an upper hand, you can customize your requirements as you like such as aperture, focal length, shutter speed, ISO speed etc. A tripod stand with a variety of lenses can add even more charm to the shot. Then it seems like all you need is to select the view and the camera does the rest. And here lies the main thing, deciding the view. For it you need to have the perfect artistic and photographic eye; no camera or lens is the perfect alternative for this.
Till date all the experiences I had as an amateur photographer and the views obtained from pro’s or semi pro’s is that , the camera matters least, it’s your approach towards a particular sight that eventually results to a masterpiece. And the testimonial to this fact is photographers like Ansel Adams, who with no technical sophistication whatsoever produced some unique photographs all the way back in 1940, which even method photographers of this modern age fail to replicate. This illustration signifies that no matter what the camera you are using its your creative edge that matters. Its like that you might have the best and flawless guitar in the world, but your music needs some basic fixes. All these are applicable for art also, no what medium or brush you use, the skill definitely matters.
In short, I don’t disagree that having a good camera has its own benefits but it’s not always the criteria for a jaw dropping shot. Everybody can take pictures but a few makes art; so it’s one’s innovative sect that creates a appreciable shot rather than the instrument, at least I think so. What about you?
Into the blue
yup the one sailed dinghy, awesome isn't it???

Puppet of wind.

This is one of my late favourites. The pic features the sail of a dinghy or one sailed ferry common in the coastal areas of India. Shot from Alibaug, a coastal city of Maharashtra, India; it is more tempting to watch when you are actually on the dinghy! As the wind drives away the sail with its force, I chose the the title 'Puppet of wind'.

Mystical Palace on Water
Hatching the sun rays.
Moment of thought.
Concept shot again. May be its overdoing things but I thought of a concept here too. I feel this signifies that moment when one day we sit all alone and think what we have done in life, is it satisfying? On one side we see the good, here the kids signify that and on the other side the dark shadowed waves signify the not so good things we did. After all, we are human beings, even god cant make everybody happy, how can we???
Shot with my olympus and Anirban Acharjee volunteering, I think this pic speaks for itself. Share your thoughts.
Slipping time
Another one of my feel good concept photos, well as i clicked the photo i would interpret it as the slipping sand is time and the hand is our life cycle, and the already set sun is happiness or so to say good things. So relating them, as the time slips away we are so busy concentrating on petty stuff that we forget about our life's true happiness or the real loved ones. Think about it and let me know. All comments are welcomed.
Shot with my olympus in the sunset mode, and Prabuddha Chakraborty volunteering with his fist, i think its one of the depth full pics i have ever taken.
Shape of sun
Nothing special about this pic just tried to capture the warm colours of the sun when its almost at the horizon. Captured with my olympus in the fireworks mode i.e slow shutter speed and less exposure. One of the main reasons of taking this pic is the distinct shape of the sun, it would have been more revealing only if the camera was better, but never mind. Share your views.
Love-ly
love is a temple love the higher law.....saw so many pictures like this so thought of giving it a try.
Though the love sign is not so prominent here(thanks to my fingers), i still like the silhouetted fingers against the setting sun; just love it.
Like my other feel good pictures this is also one, shot with my olympus fe-250, i like it what about you?
Simple.
Simplicity has its charisma of own. This shot is nothing more than that of an ordinary sunset shot yet this pic feels so enchanting. Somewhere among the hustle and bustle of life, strugglle for existence and urge to succeed we all forget how to be simple and serene.
Shot with my Olympus point to shoot in the sunset mode, this ones an ode to simplicity , the endangered human behaviour.
A tribute. . .
What a moment of joy! The sun readily sacrificing its last rays for another joyous evening to surface, the sparkling symphony of waves and all these people rejoicing with their loved ones.....oh what a view to watch. I dont regret even for a second I was there.
Shot with my olympus point to shoot in the fireworks mode paid off well, for which according to me I got such an excellent snap. Hats off to happiness, family and loved ones. Its a tribute to the existence of such wonderful things.
Some pictures cant be titled, atleast i cant.
This very pic is one of my late favourites. This inscription on the wet sand was made by a very cute little girl around all by herself. The curly pattern made by her nimble small fingers on the wet sand and the golden rays of sun shimmering on the same was a treat to watch and to capture.
Shot by my Olympus fe-250 8mp camera in the sunset mode, this picture is worth to watch. This is abhie presenting such an exquisite shot only for you all.

Lighting the paths of past and present.

The picture here is that of a lamp post from the staircase of the Ujjayanta Palace, Agartala, Tripura, India. Basically limestone white in colour, the silhouetted designs on one side and the exposed designs on the other makes a delightful contrast. So i decided to take this pic in black and white form, more accurately in grayscale with enhanced brightness to give the lamp a nostalgic look which it deserved.
Shot in black and white mode from my phone's default 3.15mp camera at around 6.30pm. Hope you all liked it.

Sunset near the pristine waters of laxmi narayan temple.

L axmi Narayan temple is one of the most pious temples of my city Agartala. On my last vacation as I was freelancing to take good shots got this shot. Taken by my phone's default camera( Samsung GT-I5801) i consider this as one of the most serene pictures taken by me. The camera mode was set to landscape and ISO was automatic. I feel the reflection in the steady waters of the enhances the pictorial quality.
